We use natural goose down for insulation: a completely sustainable, renewable and biodegradable material that performs better than most synthetics.

ARCTICA uses only high quality goose down - which offers bigger and softer clusters than inferior duck down - providing superior warmth and comfort. Every ounce of our high quality goose down contains approximately two million fluffy filaments that interlock and overlap to trap a layer of insulating air next to your body, keeping the warmth in and the cold out.

Natural goose down offers a higher warmth-to-weight ratio than most synthetic insulation; and it won't mat and clump together like synthetics - which can lead to cold spots and uneven warmth. Goose down also breathes and wicks away perspiration, keeping you dry and comfortable all day long.
